08.09.07 The Dublin government promised to meet victims and listen to their concerns as well as reach a compromise over the proposed victims march in Dublin. As yet the victims have not heard from them and as such victims intend to continue with the organised plan for a march in Dublin if the Irish Government does not meet us. The Irish Government have been given ample opportunity to organise a meeting with the victims and if there is no response from them by the 30th September 2007 the proposed march in Dublin will be going ahead. It is not only the Irish Government that is snubbing victims, as the British Government is following suit – they too refuse to meet with the victims. Since the OFMDFM has come to power they have made no attempt to speak or contact the victims. If this trend continues the victims will start to stage protests to draw this important issue to everyone’s attention. The first of these protests will be at the homes of Martin McGuinness and Ian Paisley.
