HUNGER STRIKE BOOK NOW RELEASED!

FAIR has launched a book based on the hunger strikers, today at the gates of the Maze prison. This book aims to expose the myth surrounding the bravery of these murderers who starved themselves to death. The murder and other crimes committed by these so-called heroes will be highlighted and the true face of Republicanism exposed. The truth needs to be told what these ten men were really like, in a day when Republican spin doctors promote the thinking that these men were decent citizens who made the ultimate sacrifice. It is unfortunate that we were denied access to the Maze prison for this book release. It would appear that unless you are an ex-prisoner running a documentary about what the Maze was really like, you are not allowed access to it. Ex-prisoners are welcomed while the victims of their criminality are denied access. Thereby glorifying the history of the terrorists and shunning those who would tell the truth about the effects that this criminality and terrorism had on victims. While some would have parts of the Maze turned into a Republican shrine, the victims of the same Republicanism are not allowed entry for a simple book release. However, we hope the book will expose the true story of the hunger strikers.
